Don’t worry, Justin Bieber is completely fine. But he did have a scary encounter with a possible shark while swimming in Australia on July 1, and it totally freaked him out!
Justin Bieber, 21, is in Australia for a Hillsong Church retreat, but he’s managed to find a lot of free time throughout the trip, too. Despite freezing cold water temperatures, he went for a swim in the ocean on July 1 — and may have even came across a shark!
“I was really cold and I’m pretty sure I saw a fin,” he told excited fans, in a quick Q&A session that was captured on video. “And that was not cool!” Seeing a fin so close by is especially scary these days, considering all the recent shark attacks in North Carolina and other shark sightings on the East Coast. The singer spent a bit of time with his fans on the parking lot, and even dished that he plans to release new music in “2-3 months.” WAIT, what?! That is SOOOOO soon! And while we already feel like we’ve been waiting forever, we can probably hold on for just a little longer — let’s just hope the timeline is actually for real!
